I learned this was MIMAL the chef, based on the states from north to south. Always stuck with me. twitter.com/candycornball/status…
“There’s open disdain for CSS and HTML which make websites possible… …This attitude has lead to a sole preference for JavaScript, which has created a brittle, slow, and inaccessible web that is failing to serve the public the way it should.”
It’s wild to me that
– There were 3.57 billion visits to government websites over the last 90 days
– We know that because it’s public thanks to analytics.usa.gov
– We also have hard data about OS, browser + version, and format data about how Americans are using the web t.co/glBov7Z3P5

Instead of Google forcing AMP on people, someone should make guidelines for writing fast webpages and a way to statically verify if pages follow them. Then G can add an icon in search results to mark fast pages.
You could call that standard Accelerated Mobile Pages or something.

Fancy browser developer tools are great and all, but border: 1px solid red; has helped me figure things out more often than I can remember.
It is 4/04 and I am back on my bullshit. Your clever 404 page joke gets really tedious if a user has to repeatedly view it. Be sure to provide actionable information, and a method to contact the dev team to let you know about the error.
