@shortxstack The best are those toys that are light sensitive and always seem to go off when the sun changes
@magicroundabout I love Tom and Jerry cartoons. I’ve been rewatching old Jetsons shows from 1962. My favorite part is how they program robots with “tapes” and while they have flying cars and sky apartments they still use records and record players.
@thomasfuchs I love all the Unifi gear
@benswrite I’d love to build this if I had the time
@fugularity You would dig it.
@mattcampux Better late than never
@mattcampux Did you buy a house?
@MattWilcox Can’t you add width and height attributes to each <source> element?
@shortxstack When I was in college my now wife and I were long distance. Whenever she took the train up to Philly to visit me she would keep the ticket stub. Fast forward 15 years later to a few months ago and she finally took all those stubs and created a piece of art out of it.
@caseydriscoll I figured this stuff out writing an AWS Lambda function which has to be async even though it logically could be a synchronous script.
Async is weird and takes a while to wrap your head around.
@caseydriscoll You make a new Promise. You can then do some logic and either resolve or reject that promise.
@wesbos I remember one of my first freelance gigs and they asked “What’s your hourly rate?” and I said $25/hour. They replied “That’s way too low I’m giving you $50/hour”.
Then EWWW Image Optimizer plugin for WordPress handles converting to WebP once they are uploaded wordpress.org/plugins/ewww-image…
@petetasker I have not and don’t have any plans to in the near-term. I build a lot of sites that don’t make use of the block editor.
