Hey Twitter friends! I’ve just been laid off and am seeking my next role. If you looking for someone skilled in open source, design systems, architecture, React component libraries, #a11y, design tooling, front end engineering, #JAMstack, docs, & public speaking, give me a shout.

I was just let go from my position.

I have a pregnant wife who will now be without medical coverage and an 18 month old daughter without coverage as well.

Alright folks, this thread will travel through 141Gb of design files from 2006-2020. Some of the early work will be cringe-worthy, but hopefully this will show how a designer’s skills progress over time. Let’s get started!

Last week my side hustle dried up. Today I got laid off from my day job after nearly 9 years.

I’m available for remote work: full time or contract. I’ve done everything from card sort studies to SQL query performance tuning. Most experienced with the LAMP stack. #HireMe

Are you looking for an experienced remote worker with awesome backend PHP/testing experience to help your team? Hit me up I know someone amazing, I’ve worked with them in the past and would definitely do so again.

So let’s talk personal finance; it’s more relevant to most folks today.

I’m not a @FINRA certified financial advisor, but I did work at a roboadvisor for a while. Before that I did (and still do occasionally) moderate Reddit’s /r/personalfinance.

Pulled this code out of the 11ty-website repo for easy re-use. Now you can make your own performance leaderboard!

As many of you already know, my company shut down this week. I am immediately looking for something new. I ❤️ @nodejs and @kubernetesio. Looking remote so I can still pick up my children from school every day.
