This morning I’m at a Baltimore High School talking about being a web developer for career day. Other people here include an entrepreneur, a lawyer, nurses, physical therapist, and even an explosive-detection K9 dog.
Pretty hard to compete with a K9 dog.

Regarding static vs dynamic typed programming languages:
“The real world is dynamic. It is full of mistakes. Dynamic typing recognizes this, much more so than static typing. It adapts to this much better than the academic purity of static typing.”
It’s so weird when your MacBook Pro trackpad stops working and you realize its not something that physically clicks. Just an aluminum square there with software that tricks you into thinking it is a mechanical piece.
