@TheGreenGreek A single hard drive is prone to failure and total loss. A small network attached storage with multiple drives and redundancy would be best if you’re really serious about it. Then you can automatically do an offsite backup of the contents on your NAS to a service like Backblaze.

@TheGreenGreek JavaScript and PHP are pretty easy to pickup if you know one already. PHP is easy to wrap your head around in that when this script is run it executes line by line. No async or event loop to worry about.
