@elyktrix Get a job at an agency and you can get paid to do that.
@elyktrix NaN
@elyktrix Get ready to meet Denym Cletus Shook!!!
@elyktrix I also can’t imagine getting started with web development today. So many things to learn. Where do you even start?
@elyktrix Man I can’t imagine learning to code to try and improve your life. I got into it when it was just a fun nerd thing to do before you could go to school for it. Then web development just evolved into “whoa! People will pay me to do this!”
@JacksonBates @elyktrix Check out Query Monitor. It’s a must have plugin for developers to inspect and debug internals. Feel free to ask me any questions if you get stuck on something.
@elyktrix @YesImAaron @JacksonBates @natmiletic Count me in! Love Local for local development
@elyktrix Like stumbleupon but decentralized
@elyktrix Who remembers web rings?
@MrAhmadAwais @elyktrix 😂webpack! Oh my! I got it working with ESBuild in a few lines. Need to post a gist soon
@elyktrix I’ve got a build process going thanks to @MrAhmadAwais WPGulp project github.com/ahmadawais/WPGulp
But I’m looking to extend it with a JavaScript bundler so I can do import {foo} from ‘bar’; in my JS files.
@elyktrix Figuring out how to get JavaScript imports to work the way I want within a Gulp build system
@ceeoreo_ @elyktrix You could also find a freelance project and get paid to learn.
@ceeoreo_ @elyktrix Don’t try and learn a specific technology, try and solve a problem you have. I fell into JavaScript via calculating aspect ratios for photos via an Excel spreadsheet. Weird I know.
@elyktrix Maybe it’s just a dev thing
@elyktrix I’m still not comfortable with my own code I wrote several years ago
@elyktrix Is it Fuller House?
