@JoAnnStilley He was early. Official due date was 5/22. The first scheduled c-section was 5/20. He almost came on 5/11 (wife’s birthday) but everything was fine. As a precaution they moved up the c-section to 5/13.

We lucked out. 5/13 was the first day they let Dads back in the operating room

@JoAnnStilley He’s all done and handled it like a champ. Didn’t cry until they wheeled him back they said.

@JoAnnStilley We’re still in the hospital until tomorrow. We have had several video chats with the girls. They’re excited to see him but bummed all he does is sleep… so far!

@JoAnnStilley Yea the 1 year old birthday was when you invite all of your friends and watch the kid smash cake in their face.

@JoAnnStilley My Dad was trying to think about when the first birthday party he went to was. Said kids never had parties that young in his day. And anyone who would come would have been from the neighborhood.
