@VerizonSupport And now we seem to be back up
@VerizonSupport FiOS seems to be down in Ellicott City area (zip code 21042)
@VerizonSupport 12.122.135.109 is a dead end. How can I get routed around this? Or contact the owner to let them know their address is a dead end? I’m stuck.
@VerizonSupport Here you go:
@VerizonSupport 12.122.135.109 is a dead end. See tools.keycdn.com/traceroute It just drops traffic. Not sure how I can fix this…
@VerizonSupport Doing a trace route shows me that I end up going through 12.122.135.109 when trying to reach a URL where Google Music comes from.
@VerizonSupport I can’t reach *.doc-0-0-sj.sj.googleusercontent.com via a trace route on my FiOS connection, but via a VPN or tethering to my phone everything works fine.
So what do you do when your ISP routes some of Google’s services through a dead-end IP? @VerizonSupport ?
@VerizonSupport SNR level: fair. SNR value 32DB
@VerizonSupport FXX is so scrambled its unwatchable. Other channels are fine. Zip 20906
@VerizonSupport FiOS is out. I think it’s the BBU. Replaced the backup battery last night and now service is dead this morning.
@fugularity I think they want you to just bittorrent it. Right @VerizonSupport ?
@VerizonSupport Cleaning the tip of the coax cable did nothing. speedtest.net/result/2767593294.…
@VerizonSupport Clean the tip of the coax cable going into the red and black FiOS router? I’ll try that at home later tonight.
@VerizonSupport Rebooted the FiOS router, rebooted the ONT, problem always comes back an hour or two later.
@VerizonSupport “@kingkool68: My FiOS upload speeds are super slow. youtu.be/kbiKIj0eeFc?a”
@VerizonSupport Large uploads choke. I already follow you guys.
