@shortxstack When I was in college my now wife and I were long distance. Whenever she took the train up to Philly to visit me she would keep the ticket stub. Fast forward 15 years later to a few months ago and she finally took all those stubs and created a piece of art out of it.

@caseydriscoll I figured this stuff out writing an AWS Lambda function which has to be async even though it logically could be a synchronous script.

Async is weird and takes a while to wrap your head around.

@caseydriscoll You make a new Promise. You can then do some logic and either resolve or reject that promise.

Tl;Dr it is up to you to determine if that promise is good or bad. See javascript.info/promise-basics
