Here picking up my passport. Lots of people here that I saw yesterday. Lucky to have grabbed street parking instead of having to pay parking garage prices.

@randallb I’m pretty lucky since a regiobal passport office is only an hour drive away. The first thing I did was change my flight for more time. I would have never made my morning flight today.

If you’re taking your passport photo yourself you need to follow these requirements. travel.state.gov/content/travel/…

Pretty easy to print it out at home on glossy photo paper.

The website says “appointment only” but they’re all set up for walk-in appointments.

Filled out forms, took my own photo, woke up at the crack of dawn to drive to DC, and here I am. Waiting in line at the regional passport office to be checked in as a walk-in.

Rebooked my flight to the next earliest available time (Saturday) to buy some time.

Went to check in for my flight to Cancun last night. Entered my passport info and realized my passport had expired. Uuggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
