anonymousjoe managed to pull this off without touching the markup using CSS grid. I still need to wrap my head around thinking in terms of CSS grid.
GusRuss89 came up with a similar solution but used a pseudo element instead of using an extra element in the markup. That’s smart.
I updated the pen with my solution. By adding a wrapper element we can absolutely position an element with the same background color as the <main> and <aside> elements to sit underneath and stretch out to the left edge of the screen.
@SandyS1 Well there’s always this… forumone.com/careers/associate-d…
@noaheverett I use it for freelance side business stuff + personal taxes. You can enter info for an office deduction and it will do the math to deduct for things like your home office.
@noaheverett I have always used TurboTax Home & Business.
In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 1.5 Quibi

@miked1ck @andrewcohen Zadie (5) and Vera (basically 3) have so much fun together. Sure it’s tough adjusting to two kids. The newborn has their own schedule and the older kid has their routine they want to stick to. And my 3rd kid is on the way so I guess I have to say having two is great.
@taupecat Happy birthday to one of your 9 lives.
It’s Friday afternoon. Why not give my little CSS layout challenge a try? twitter.com/kingkool68/status/12…
@dhh Should have blown some minds and thrown in a mention of script.aculo.us/ for effects
@jh3yy @CodePen I think it would be neat to be able to rotate this around 3D space and see the shape created.
@SaraSoueidan If you have to SSH into remote servers a lot I use this command to enable tab completetion of SSH hostnames:
