AMPPS (my local server) + Virtualbox (with port forwarding set-up) + IE VMs = a seamless IE debugging set-up.
Thanks to virtual machines from Microsoft modern.ie/virtualization-tools I can now run local copies of my site on my Mac and debug them in IE.
