What I want in master-build is to show the squashed merge commits with any code changes from master since the last squashed merge commit to master-build.
I think there are conflicts when I try merging and the changed files don’t actually get committed to master-build. Any ideas?

Here is the workflow highlighted with the commands for Git commit the code changes to the current branch (i.e. master) and then squash merge those changes to a new branch with a clean history (i.e. master-build)

The gist is I have a branch for authoring changes (master) and a branch with compiled CSS/JS changes ready to be deployed (master-build)
I’ve been working on a GitHub action to compile CSS/JS and make it easier to deploy code changes to servers. But I’m stuck trying to make Git do what I want to do. Maybe you can help?
