It was a great decision. 0 traffic, the kids were asleep, the road was dry and clear. We woke up at 7:30am to the snow starting to fall. My dad, who decided to stay at the cabin, sent a picture. There was 4″ of snow already at 8:30am.

We were supposed to leave on Sunday but once we saw the approaching snow storm was supposed to start overnight we decided to cut our trip short and drive 3 hours home last night to beat the snow.

This weekend the whole family went to a cabin in West Virginia for a winter get away trip. We had a blast snow tubing, ice skating, and hiking. The welcoming committee was super friendly.
