Bummed @WordCampLanc scheduled for this weekend is cancelled but they did it for the right reasons. I appreciate all the work the organizers have put in and the hard decisions they had to make.

every time I see another institution move to remote work/instruction because of COVID19 I am reminded of every single tweet from disabled people pointing out that it wasn’t until abled people were threatened that institutions seemed to be willing to make these changes

Acknowledge your kids. Tell them you’re working but take the time to explain why it’s important. Every time. Let them sit/watch. Tell them about the cost of food/clothes/home.
