@AmritaMathur Term life insurance is the way to go most of the time. It’s cheaper and only covers a certain length of time. Cheaper when younger as statistically you’re less likely to die compared to when you’re older. The insurance company is betting you live longer than the policy.

@AmritaMathur Life insurance is for peace of mind. You should look into it if you have someone depending on you financially (children, spouse, elderly parent etc). If you die you want them to be ok financially.

$1k per year to know my family will be ok is worth it to me.

@kathkat15 I just dropped off Vera while Zadie is staying home today. The teacher’s symptoms consisted of tiredness and sore throat. The school is doing the right thing and the kids are having way more fun then at home. And I can focus better at work.

5 year old went back to preschool yesterday. Today one of the teachers reported COVID-19 symptoms and had to close early for the day. They’ll be closed tomorrow as well.

3 year old goes to the same school and is unaffected.

Week 8 and feeling great! He’ll smile every once in a while and he coos a lot more these days.
