I also have a 4TB hot spare ready to go into action if one of those disks should crap out. I could have gone to 21TB of storage but I don’t need all of that space just yet.

Woo hoo! More terabytes. My new configuration is now synology.com/en-us/support/RAID_…
@kev097 BWI has a rad kids playground.
@alisonmaego Here’s a fox that seemed to not give an f about people circa 2005
@fugularity I’ve been using those. They’re ok but I prefer floss.
@round Can this be my tweet?
@cdharrison @round @pocketcasts I second this. Though I only manage to listen to about 30 minutes of podcasts a week now that I have no commute.
@mjacksonw What’s that bloated zip drive looking thing on top of the rack-mounted server?
@kev097 👋
@jonathanober Yarrr!!! That sounds like a mighty fine tool, ya matey!
@jonathanober Mine are super tight as well often breaking the floss. It does feel nice after taking 5 extra minutes to floss all of them. Also you should curve it into a C shape against one tooth and not just wiggle it back and forth.
So with that advice I have been flossing ever since. Not everyday, but several times a week. And my gums do feel a lot better. They really hurt after my last cleaning and I don’t want them to hurt like that again.
So I guess my 2019 resolution is to finally floss. THE END.
A couple weeks back I went to the dentist and they once again advised me to floss everyday. But this time they said “If you were on a desert island and had the choice of a toothbrush or floss you would be better off with floss to help keep your gums firm.”
Happy Drag-Your-Toddler-Kicking-A d-Screaming-Back-Into-The-Routine-After-Winter-Break Day!
(probably applies to adults too)
@chriscoyier I do dig the popular this month card stack. It’s kind of fun to play with.
@chriscoyier Well I like it from a usability perspective (easy to grab) but from an aesthetics perspective its just too big. I don’t think we need custom scrollbars anymore. I lived in the days of IE6
AHHHHhhh that huge chunky custom scroll bar. twitter.com/chriscoyier/status/1…
@bpeebles 501.65 million″, just ask me next time.
Current configuration synology.com/en-us/support/RAID_…
For 2019 I’m gonna upgrade my backup storage…
