@AlexStandiford After several weeks we saw no effect of the design variation on the number of form submissions. It was safe to roll out the new design.

I ran an A/B test on this page. The control was just the form. The variation was this page with the colored slider thingy on the left. The test was to see if the colored slider thingy effected number of form submissions.
@AlexStandiford You have two versions of a page. The test runs. Results are determined. The variation either makes a difference in conversions or not. Repeat as needed. It will probably take several weeks to get enough statistically relevant data depending on traffic numbers.
@AlexStandiford The hardest part is evenly splitting the traffic for a test. Use Google Optimize. It’s easy and you can run tests without needing dev work.
