@freshyill If that your head your “wife” is holding in the top row center column?
@fugularity I dunno… Someone used to have a mad man crush on Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters
@rossk Only if they’re prescribed by Dr. Pepper

@neojp @MikeNGarrett And you’re probably on Windows @neojp so I bet you’ll run into other issues I never had to deal with 🤪
@neojp @MikeNGarrett Once I fixed my dumb /usr/local/bin/bash issue everything just worked out of the box for me once I installed a VSCode extension. Here’s a write up gist.github.com/kingkool68/8771a…
@neojp @MikeNGarrett I ended up doing this: ln -s /opt/homebrew/bin/bash /usr/local/bin/bash
And everything worked again! Yay! Here’s a StackOverflow link with more details: stackoverflow.com/questions/7298…
@neojp @MikeNGarrett So yesterday I did this twitter.com/kingkool68/status/15… and part of that process involved deleting /usr/local/bin/bash. VSCode’s terminal was looking for /usr/local/bin/bash for some reason so code linting completely broke because the scripts couldn’t find binaries in the PATH or whatev
Now everything is fast and zippy like it should be. The end.
Then I realized I installed Homebrew (a Mac package manager) as an Intel version as well. Luckily there is a straight forward way to migrate to an M1 compatible version via github.com/Homebrew/discussions/…
Turns out I have an Intel version of VSCode running in emulation via Rossetta 2 on my M1 MacBook Pro. No wonder things were slow. I simply reinstalled VSCode for ARM-based Macs.
So I woke up today and thought “VSCode seems laggy and slow” so I thought I would investigate…
@neojp @MikeNGarrett Ok I finally got this working and it was weird and dumb. I need to make a thread…
Spent all day trying to get PHPCS/WPCS code sniffing working in VSCode and I’ve come up with nothing. Has anyone gotten this to work? What plugins have you used?

@richard_tabor Why now? There are a million different things I could be working on. Why does this particular problem need to be solved right now?
@freshyill Ooooo neat!
